KEEP MARIJUANA LAW, UNION SAYS
The union representing rank-and-file Toronto police officers says the countrys
police chiefs are wrong to advocate decriminalization of simple possession of marijuana.
"In our experience, drug users start off with marijuana
before they graduate to harder drugs such as heroin and cocaine," Toronto
Police Association president Craig Bromell said yesterday in a news release.
(Marijuananews note: Many of "the rank-and-file" actually
know better, but the leaders are politicized ideologues.)
