"I asked the sheriff

"He said, 'That's my job.'" And That Is In California For 3 Medical Marijuana
Plants!
(Marijuananews note:

El Dorado County sheriffs cited a 70-year old cancer patient,
Gladys Ward, for growing 3 marijuana plants.
Ms. Ward reports that this is the first time she has been in any trouble with the law.
She did not have a doctor's recommendation for marijuana at the time of the arrests, but
has one now.
El Dorado County narcotics agents have raided at least a
half-dozen minor medical marijuana gardens in the last couple of months.
"I asked the sheriff whether he didn't have better things to
do than arrest sick people,"
Ms. Ward recounts, "He said, 'That's my job.'"
